Classical Tones

January 13 2025 02:00AM

Classical Tones / Tonos Clasicos is a weekly two-hour bilingual show of classical music "with a Latin connection". Every work played has some connection to Spain or Latin America, typically the composer and/or the performer(s). Much of the programming is music that is rarely or never heard on most classical music radio shows. Each piece is preceded by a minute or two of interesting information about it, first in Spanish, then in English. The show is broken into two segments, each 58 minutes long, but there is at least a minute of theme music at the end of each segment so you can fade down any time after 57 minutes.
